An 80th Birthday Brunch

A Joyous Celebration with Charter Member SIS Evelyn Wagner Wright

Saturday, April 11, 2026, beginning at 10 am, St. Francis of Assisi Parish Hall; family, friends, clergy, neighbors – people from every chapter of Evelyn Wagner Wright’s life gathered for an 80th Year Birthday Brunch to honor the woman who had touched them all.

The beautifully decorated hall shimmering with joy, welcomed guests who paused to sign the guestbook placed on a special table overflowing with beautifully wrapped presents, tokens of appreciation from those whose lives she has touched. Nearby, another display table held images of her throughout the years and cherished photos of her grandchildren, a tender reminder of the legacy she continues to build.

Tables were adorned with centerpieces of flowers and elegant table runners that reflected the grace of Evelyn’s eighty remarkable years. The room felt full in every sense of the word: full of love, full of stories, full of gratitude for eighty remarkable years.

Guests arrived to the lively energy of a DJ spinning upbeat classics, filling the room with music that invited smiles, swaying shoulders, setting the mood for spontaneous line dancing that brought smiles to faces and laughter throughout the room.

A lavish brunch with servers, stretched along both sides of the room — warm breakfast favorites, ensured there was something for everyone to enjoy.  There was fresh fruit glistening with color, and the comforting aroma of coffee drifting through the air. Conversation and laughter mingled throughout the hall as family and friends enjoyed both the food and the fellowship.

The camera was never far, capturing countless moments with her as the radiant center of attention.  Everyone wanted a photo with the woman of the hour — radiant, smiling, and surrounded by love.  From group photos with loved ones to candid snapshots during the festivities, every picture celebrated her remarkable eighty years. It was a heartwarming gathering, filled with love, joy, and lasting memories.

Expressions of love filled the room. Family members shared heartfelt words — stories of her strength, her humor, her faith, and the countless ways she has shaped their lives. Some of the guests added their own reflections, gratitude, and warm wishes for the years still to come.

It was more than a birthday party. It was a celebration of a life well‑lived, a gathering of generations, and a joyful reminder that eighty years is not just a number — it is a testament to grace, resilience, and the love that continues to surround her.
